Reading could be your life saver and your best friend; which means you should enjoy it to the fullest.
Welcome to the blog. In today's post I will share with you my top 5 things that every reader must have in this season.
“ You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.” – C.S. Lewis
1. A Good Playlist
For me it is impossible to read without music that represents the book I'm reading. Whether it was created by someone else or made by myself I always try to read with music. It helps me to focus on the book and when I'm not reading but want to still feel the plot and characters with me I will turn on the playlist.

2. A Perfect Mug
I love reading with a good cup of hot coffee or tea, as it is the perfect combination to get into reading mode. If you are like me, I recommend you use the largest cup you have (this way your drink will last you a long time).
Here are some great mugs and thermos you could use:

3. Bookmarks
I consider the act of dog-eared books as sacrilege (yes, I see you monster people who do it), so for me it is always necessary to have a bookmark at hand. Normally when I used to go to bookstores I would grab the ones that I liked the most, however, with the Pandemic it has become a bit complicated. So I had the idea to make some in the "Canva" app (if you want me to share them with you, leave me a comment below 😉).
But you can also use things that you have already have, like those receipts or concert tickets you never threw away. The reality is that any kind of paper can work, to indicate where we are in the book and thus never lose the thread of the plot.
4. A Notebook
I'm the kind of person who lives by quotes from books, and recently, I began to have a notebook next to me while reading to be able to write ideas, phrases or thoughts that I liked about the book, the characters and the plot.
I do it in a separate notebook (or in a note on my cell phone) because I can't underline a book, it seems like a criminal act to me (I'm sorry, I have too many ideas about reading lol).
But if you are one of those who do not mind if you underline the book, go ahead. The goal is that you can mark what you liked and to ramble your ideas about the book.

5. The Perfect Book
What kind of a "Top 5 Items Every Reader Should Have" list would it be if I didn't tell you that you need a book to complete it? These are some books that I recommend all the time:
If you like YA fantasy (my personal favorite): I recommend you read The ACOTAR series by Sarah J. Maas and all the universe of The Shadow World (I suggest starting with The Mortal Instruments series).
If you like classics: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and Wuthering Heights by Emily Brönte are my favorites so far.
If you like historical fiction: The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini and The Last Jew by Noah Gordon.
Science fiction short story: my favorites are The Last Question and The Last Answer both by Isaac Asimov.
