First bookish blog post of 2024!
“Books, she has found, are a way to live a thousand lives–or to find strength in a very long one.”

Long time no see! We are already in the second week of January... how? Can we go a little slower, please? Is it just me who feels like time is passing faster?
Anyway... I’ve seen several people post their resolutions, and I think it’s a great idea, so I’m sharing mine with you along with the books I bought on my trip to Croatia (of which I was uploading a couple of stories about the trip!)
For me, the New Year is an exceptional time. I love planning and making resolutions that I might stop trying to achieve when a couple of weeks pass, and my daily routine gets the better of me, but hey, a girl can dream hahaha
My Resolutions :)
🤎 Do not read for the sake of reading. What do I mean by this? I want to read more books that are close to what I like and not just read the book that went viral.
🤎 If I’m not enjoying a book at all, DNF it. No one should be forced to do something if they don’t like it, and this is an aspect that I want to apply in my life in general.
Reading any book just so I could reach my Goodreads goal. Reading is not a competition.
🤎 Work on my self-esteem and try not to compare myself to other accounts. Each one has a different style that adapts to our lifestyles.
🤎Editing my book and entering the world of publishing... I’m thinking about maybe having beta readers. Any volunteers??👀
🤎 Be a little more organized and have more consistency with my posts on Bookstagram.
🤎 Enjoy my reading and my time on Bookstagram.
🤎 Lastly and probably most importantly, having more interaction with you, getting to know you better, and connecting with more book lovers.
