Sunny days + ice coffee + books = Perfect Summer!
“That’s the thing about books. They let you travel without moving your feet.”
Jhumpa Lahiri
Welcome back to the blog! In today's post, I'll share with you my Summer TBR list. In the last couple of months, I've realized that I'm a mood reader. Normally, I read the book that I craved the most at that moment, and that's ok, but I tend to leave books for a long time in my TBR pile.
One thing I realized is that, in Spring, I wanted to read certain books. However, I ended up with others. In addition, I selected way too many books to read! But, ended up reading far less than I expected. Therefore, I will be more objective and realistic when choosing how many I want to read.
So, I've decided to change things a little bit. Of the books I already have, I picked a couple to read this summer. This way, I'm combining my moodiness with some organization, hoping that with this, I do not have to be choosing books at the last minute.
I also want to try reading more standalone books, as I'm very used to reading trilogies and series. I love series, but I think it's time to spice it up a little bit and give the spotlight to some standalone books.
Summer TBR
Throne of Glass Series by Sarah J. Maas (I read the previous ones during Spring)
The Beautiful Ones by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
They Both Died at the End by Adam Silvera
A Thousand Ships by Natalie Haynes
