Night Triumphant – and the Stars Eternal. If he was the sweet, terrifying darkness, I was the glittering light that only his shadows could make clear.

What Is It About?

Ok, I know this is not the first book from the series, don't hate me for that haha (if you want me to review the other books, leave me a comment and I'll gladly do it).

The third book written by Sarah J. Maas follows the journey of Feyre Archeron and the Inner Circle trip to Hybern, in which everything got complicated. After Feyre lost her bargain tattoo with Rhysand, she returned to Spring Court with Tamlin, Lucien, and Ianthe, who are now befriended with Hybern’s King.

But little do they know about Feyre's revenge thirst and master planning. She is not the same starving girl hunting for her family, or the girl who went Under the Mountain to rescue her beloved. She is a wolf and cannot be caged, she is the High Lady of the Night Court. She is ready to fight for her friends, her sisters, her court, and her mate, but more importantly, she will do it for herself.

My Opinion

/5

Rhysand was my absolute favorite character (I have to admit that at the beginning I was a bit insecure and concern about him, but I fell head over heels for him). All about him is my dream, and I admire how compassionate, gentle, loving, and intensely protective he is of those he calls family, like Feyre. The battle scene, nearly at the end, made me cry. No, not just cry. I was heaving with uncontrollable sobs, unable to stop the tears coming down my face (it was 2 in the morning so I was panicking in case someone came in and saw me a mess).

The third book in the series written by Sarah J. Maas is one of the most heartbreaking and motivational books I have ever read. It is very beautifully written, as it feels that the Inner Circle is so real, with every thought, action, and emotion you can sense it too. Their emotions are not mystical, they are truly human, I’m sure most of us have felt something similar at least once in our lifetimes.

You may have suspicions as to why I considered it motivational. I’ll tell you why. These characters represent lives that have suffered so much and have been through so many obstacles, as much as Sarah J. Maas has been able to depict true-life themes, from feminism to mental health stigmas. all of them with vivid experiences which have left invisible and impalpable scars for each of the characters, reflecting a long journey of ups and downs where they had to learn to live with them and at the same time, that moment does not define them, since they are much more than their mental health problems.

Reading this book is worthy; all the tears, laughs, pain, and love this book gave me, has no price.

Have you read any of SJM's books? Which one is your favorite? Who is your favorite Inner Circle character?
